Program Policies & Procedures

Membership Terms

  • Billing: Annual memberships paid in full upfront
  • Cancellation: 30-day notice required, no refunds on unused benefits
  • Upgrades/Downgrades: Available anytime with prorated pricing adjustments

Discount Redemption

  • Session Discounts: Apply automatically at checkout, unlimited usage
  • Retail Discounts: Apply to all merchandise (hats, t-shirts, mugs, frames)
  • Beverage Discounts: Apply to all beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Guest Passes: Reset monthly, cannot be carried over

Session Booking Policies

  • Priority Access: Members get early booking before general public
  • Capacity Limits: All sessions limited to 26 customers maximum
  • Age Requirements: All participants must be 10+ years old
  • Arrival Times:
    • Camera rentals: Pick up 1-24 hours before session
    • Photo shoots: Arrive 30 minutes before session time

Workshop & Event Access

  • Advance Registration: Required for all workshops and events
  • Capacity Limits: Limited spaces available, first-come basis for members
  • Missed Sessions: No makeup sessions for missed workshops
  • Guest Policy: Workshops are member-only unless specified otherwise

Store Credit & Refund Policy

  • No Refunds: Strict no-refund policy on membership fees
  • Store Credits: Can only be applied to photography session bookings
  • Exclusions: Store credits cannot be used for merchandise, alcohol, digitizing services, or gift cards
  • Transferability: Store credits are non-transferable without management approval

Member Recognition & Gallery

  • Photo Submissions: Members may submit work for showcases and gallery
  • Usage Rights: Sip & Develop may use member photos for marketing with permission
  • Gallery Space: Limited and rotated based on availability and quality
  • Social Media: Members may be featured on our social platforms

Facility Access

  • Operating Hours: Tuesday-Sunday (Monday closed) - see current schedule
  • Member Events: Special hours may apply for member-only activities
  • Equipment Use: All darkroom equipment use must be supervised
  • Safety Requirements: All safety protocols must be followed

Guest Pass Policy

  • Silver Level: No guest passes included
  • Gold Level: Two passes per month, friends get 15% discount
  • Elite Level: Unlimited passes, friends get 20% discount
  • Restrictions: Guest passes cannot be sold or transferred to non-friends
  • Booking: Guests must book through member's account

Q: Can I pause my membership? A: Memberships cannot be paused, but you can cancel with 30-day notice and rejoin later.

Q: Do membership benefits expire? A: Most benefits reset monthly. Unused guest passes and complimentary sessions do not carry over.

Q: Can I share my membership with family? A: Memberships are individual. Family members need separate memberships but can use guest passes.

Q: What happens if I miss my complimentary session? A: Unused complimentary sessions do not roll over to the next month.

Q: Can I upgrade my membership mid-year? A: Yes, upgrades are prorated. Contact us for assistance with membership changes.

Q: Are there any additional fees? A: No hidden fees. All listed benefits are included in your membership price.
